Baby Dillman is getting very close to making his appearance! Jake attended his fist baby shower Sunday. Everyone was impressed with how good he was. I must say he did way better than I though he would. It was so nice to catch up with old friends. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.

i never thought i would post this...

For as long as could remember Jake hated to be on his stomach. At just five 5 weeks he rolled over because he hated it so much. I stopped tummy time because it upset him so much and his doctor said now that he could sit it was not necessary. Everyone always said this child would never crawl. In the last few weeks Jake has decided his stomach is not the enemy. What stated as a army crawl, but only using his legs to go forward has turned into a full crawl the last few days. Let me just say he will only crawl so he can get to something to pull him self up so he can walk, but I can say he is crawling. We are having a company come to baby proof on Wednesday, because the little bit we have done it not cutting it anymore. I guess it is better late then never. Way to go Jake!

Took Jake to the doctor and they could not find anything wrong. He seems fine now, go figure.

shabbat in the park

We joined some friends for a picnic dinner at the park last night. Jake was not having a great day he was fussy and only wanted mom. I had no idea at the time he was not feeling well. I just said it must be his teeth. He woke up at 5 with a fever of 102. We are now off to the doctor...I am so glad his doctor has Saturday hours.

We went to see some friends at a horse show today. Jake was super, he was very happy hanging out in the stroller watching the horses and reading his book.

We finally have our power back. We were without power for 4 full days! To beat the heat Jake got to try out his new car floaty. He just loves the water. Thanks Lily for sharing your pool! We can't wait to go back again.

Ok maybe this was not the best plan, it was way too hot at the zoo. I was trying to keep busy with no power. We still had a nice time despite the heat. The animals were all out and active for change.

This not having power thing sucks big time. I feel so out of sorts. The good thing is Jake does not even notice. Luckily most of his toys use batteries. Feeding him has been the challenging part. We now have a generator so that is helping. Cross your fingers we have power back soon.

David wanted to get a bounce house and a bounce house is what we got. Right now it is in the basement but I really think it needs to go outside. Jake can't wait for his friends to come and try it out!

Something amazing happened today, Jake wanted to go on his roller coaster, This little roller coaster is loved by all of Jake's friends, but he has been scared of it since day one. Today he conquered his fears. He went around for close to five minutes, he would have gone longer but I had to get going.

We love our swim class. Jake can not get enough of the water, he does not even mind going under. It is so hard to get pictures but today we lucked out! Thanks Sunita!

and Scott too! We had a great time at Lily's first birthday party. Jake loved the bounce house so much that David is ready to go out and buy one! We almost stopped on the way home to get one. I could not get either one out of the bounce house.
