We had a great afternoon at the apple orchard. We did not end up buying the pumpkins yet. I was worried they would not last until Halloween. So that is still fun for another day.

At the apple orchard yesterday they had a little petting for the kids. Jake could have spent the entire afternoon with the animals.

We went to Brich Run to buy pink today! Jake was a great sport as usual. He found this dog at Old Navy that kept him occupied for a while.

story time

Jake loves book, he loves to pull the books off his shelves to 'read' them. He then brings me his favorites to read over and over again. Story time is one of his favorite activities. What makes it so nice is they understand toddlers at this age do not sit still. We are in a room where they can not escape and are encouraged to interact and be involved, and not just sit for 30 minutes. Today at the end of story time they brought out the parachute, Jake got a kick out of being under it.

When Jake gets a little fussy the best thing to do is just to take him outside. Playing with his ducks made him instantly a happy toddler.

Renaissance Festival

Can we say not what I expected, lots of weird freaky people. It was super muddy...not sure why because it did not rain. Jake loved the people watching and they did have a very nice children's area, it was just very busy. Overall it was a very nice family afternoon.

You all you what a planner and shopper I am, so today I saw a deal on snow pants that I just could not pass up. My sister think he looks like a farmer in these pictures with no shirt, we were trying other clothes on him too. Crazy to think he will need these soon.

After baby bunch we went to Lily and Mary's gorgeous new house. They are part of our Beaumont play group. Jake is a very busy little guy, this was our second activity of the day. Jake is learning to open doors. He was trying to escape to the backyard here. They also have a cute little dog that kept Jake very entertained. The dog was a saint for putting up with a bunch of one year olds.

We had a crazy morning I was ready to kill a cat and then it off to baby bunch. Today they had us in a better much larger room and Jake just had blast exploring all of the new toys. But of course the bubbles are always a hit. He also loved going under the huge parachute.

Baby Bunch

Jake started a baby bunch class. He was on the go from the minute we walked in the door. Jake has a pretty busy schedule this fall, he has activity almost everyday. He is a very social little guy:)

When we were in Target yesterday I saw a super cute dragon costume but had no idea what size to get, so I figured lets just try it on him really quickly. Well he took off as soon as I got the costume on. Needless to say he just looked so cute I had to get it for him. I did not encourage him to pick up the pumpkin baskets, he did that all on his own. I guess he is planning on getting alot of candy with his two pumpkins.

We were suppose to go the Renaissance Festival yesterday but due to the morning rain it did not happen. So instead we went to the zoo. It was so nice to be there when it was not ridiculously hot! Jake animal of the day was the duck. He wanted to chase them around. I was a little dissapointed in the zoo after seeing all of the wildlife in Alaska in their natural habitat. What can I say it is back to reality.
