trick or treat

We headed over to Montante house to trick or treat tonight since David was working late. The boys had a blast, they were super in the wagon and did well with all the ins and outs. Jake's favorite part of the night was the glow stick from Enzo's grandma, he was mesmerized by the glow stick. We were home in time for David to take Jake to a few of our neighbors, they said we were there only trick or treaters of the night.

halloween party

Jake had his friends over for a little Halloween fun. I did not get as many pictures as I would have liked since I was running around like a crazy person most of the time. I wanted to get a pictures of all the kids together but that just did not happen. Melissa took a ton of pictures so I am hoping they turned out so I can post them.

18 month well check up

weight: 24 pounds (25% percentile)
height: 33.5 inches (75% percentile)

Jake exceeded all their minimum "does he do" questions. Our homework it to work on Jake feeding himself with a spoon and fork.

Holy Moly! 1.5years old! That can't be right. I must have lost count somewhere. So crazy to think that he will be two years old in six months. It certainly is not an exaggeration when people try to warn you how fast time flies.

He is learning new words everyday and starting to combine phase. Today he said wanttogooutside several times.

zoo boo round 2

The weather was not much better this time around. We did manage to avoid the rain so that was good. Jake had fun trick-or-treating and loved the people watching. We will be adding this event to our calendar again next year.

Since David was stuck at work, AJ was kind enough to help me out, not to mention it was good practice for him.

Halloween at Kensington

We joined some friends for some Halloween fun at the Kensington petting farm today. We are having some issues with Jake's costume, he can't walk outside in it because the feet are all covered in fabric. I guess that was not so smart on my part. The boys had a great time, I think Jake's favorite part of the morning was the hayride. This is the first of many activities this Halloween season!

picture time!

Let me start by saying taking pictures this time was so much harder, he did not want to stay still. This was just a trail run for his 18 month pictures. I wanted to get some in his Halloween costume, but he was so done. Not to mention trying to get pictures of two kids was next to impossible. So here is a preview, there are few more I need to edit.

shop to you drop

So after pictures this morning we ran in to the store really quick to look for pictures frames, and of course we had to look at toys. That was just to much for this tired little guys.
