2nd birthday party

Jake's party was so much fun, he loved having all his friends here to celebrate his special day. Jill from Music Together came and sang songs and danced with the kids. It was so cute and the kids had a blast! Jake was spoiled by all of his friends and family. He received tons of outdoor toys and loads of clothes.

2 year check up

Weight: 26.5 (25%)
Height: 36 inches (75%) I do not think this is accurate, he would not stand to be measured and was wiggling like a crazy man when they took it laying down.

The appointment went well, he is hitting all of his milestones. We talked about when to start potty training, it's going to be a while.

swim class

Grandma came to swim class today. Jake had fun showing off his skills.

This outdoor boy was so happy to have great weather on his birthday. My parents has a small party for him where he got to practice blowing out the candles and opening a few presents.

Where has the time gone??? Jake is TWO! We have a busy weekend of birthday activities planed.

koi pond

A few more from DC...

Our hotel had a koi pond that was a huge hit. They even let the kids feed the fish. Jake had to say goodnight to the fish, and they were the first thing in the morning he asked for.

Play-doh

Jake's new favorite activity is play-doh. It will hold his attention for 30 minutes at a time!

Saturday in DC

We had a fantastic weekend, Jake thought we took him to warm weather and the airplane place. He slept the best away from home that he ever has. I'm sure it's due the fact the he was running around like crazy in the amazing weather.
Saturday morning was the Cherry Blossom parade, there was an Elmo float that made Jake's day. After the parade we walked to the White House.

Off to DC we go!! We were delayed due to the rain but Jake and Lily just loved watching the planes.
