What a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon at the lake.

Goodnight Moon

We went to see Goodnight Moon at Medowbrook yesterday, and let me let you that it was just crazy hot sitting in that pavilion. Jake did not seem to mind at all, he thought the show was great and kept asking to go IN goodnight moon meaning he wanted to go play on the stage. Goodnight moon is one of Jake's favorite books. Our seats were almost too good, we were in the second row. It was a fun afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa.

We headed over to Melissa and Owen's house for some water fun. Luckily their yard is very shaded or the boys would not have made it as long as they did.

Jake and I met up with some friends for music in the in the park this morning. The boys had fun despite the heat. Thanks, Therese for taking the pictures, I have been slacking lately.

I hate how I look...but all the pictures with just Jake and David, David has his eyes closed.

first day of camp

Jake started camp today with his friends Lily and Kamran:) This is the first time I dropped him off and left him! He did great, he walked right in to his classroom and started to play right away. I watched him for a few minutes and then snuck away. He is going half days, twice a week, he even eats lunch there.

busy week

We had a busy week hanging out with friends! Jake and I are so lucky to have made such great friends. Here are a few pictures from the week. He even got to go on his first school bus ride, well technically the bus did not move but he did not care. We are going to miss Kendra and Enzo when she goes back to work:(
