2 weeks old!
It's hard to believe that Nathan has been here for two weeks already! Needless to say things have been a little crazy around here. Mornings are the most challenging. Nathan is still sleeping most of the day, and is doing better at night. He no longer is awake for extended periods at night rather he will eat and usually go right back to sleep. We still have sleeping in his swing at night. At his appointment yesterday he was back up to his birth weigh. I definitely know what to expect this time around....but I am not sure that is always a good thing. He is looking less like Jake as he gets bigger.

Still Searching for the New "Normal" -- Whatever That Is . . .
Still finding our way with two little boys. So far, Jake has been great with his baby brother! Nate loves his pacifier far more than Jake ever did, but he's still got his days and nights mixed up. David goes back to work tomorrow, so it will be another adjustment. But my 2 little guys are 2 times the love and 2 times the joy!

mr. sophisticated
The sippy cup is becoming a thing of the past when we are sitting at a table. Mr. sophisticated wants to show off his stuff and drink from a real cup. We were at PF Changs the other night and he wanted tea like grandma. He likes tea so much we had to cut him off of we knew we would never get him to bed.

three cedars farm
happy halloween
We headed over to the Schwartz house for trick of treating since since we do not have much of a neighborhood. Jake decdied to not really nap, and fell asleep on the short ride over. He was super grumpy and clingy and I thought for sure he would last 5 minutes. Well I was proved wrong, I stayed and passed out candy while the guys took the kids out. David said after the first house he got it, and from that point on was running from house to house yelling more candy. I think the dads were more tired than the kids.
