hands on museum

Since Nate's arrival we have not been out and about as much. We figured it was about time to get back in the routine, so we ventured to Ann Arbor Hands on Museum on Saturday. It has been about a year since we were there last time. No surprise here, the water activities were still a favorite. Nate was perfect and slept in the stroller the entire time.

My sister got Nathan a smaller version of the Pottery Barn Anywhere chair. Jake thinks it is his chair, but was kind enough to share with Nathan so I could get few pictures. Thanks, Aunt Kristin for the very cool chair:)

Right at 6 weeks Nate starting smiling:) Grandma was able to capture the smile this morning when I was working out.

playgroup gift exchange

We had our playgroup gift exchange the other day at Kendra and Enzo's house. The kids had a great time hanging out, decorating cookies and opening presents.

Well at least for Jake... I was not ready to leave Nathan yet, so we picked him up after dinner. Jake LOVED giving Nathan his bottle. Thank you so much, mom and dad for watching the boys and taking pictures. It was so nice to have nice evening out.

1 month appointment

Nathan's appointment went great! The doctor was impressed how he was just happy haning out. He is such a different baby than Jake. He had his second hep B shot. Here a few more 1 month pictures.

My friend Carrie had her baby girl, Daniella just five days before I had Nathan. As you can see Nathan was much more into sleeping than playing...

1 month

How has it been a month already?? Life with just one child seems like it was so long ago.

Nathan is 4 weeks old

This little man is changing everyday. He already looks so much bigger to me. He really is a great baby, much more mellow than Jake ever was. Trust me I am knocking on wood as I type that. Nights are a little better, a few times he has given me a 4-5 hour stretch but usually is around 3.He is also starting to sleep more in his crib at night instead of his swing. The pacifier is his best friend. I can't wait till Friday when we go for his one month appointment to see how big he has gotten.

Nathan's first bath

Nathan's first bath was delayed due to the fact that his belly button was not healing well. I was surprised that he really did not mind the bath as much as I thought he would. Jake screamed the entire time! Nathan only screamed when he was starting to get cold.

Jake is doing great with being a big brother. He is adjusting better for the most part than I thougt he would. He always ask to hold Nathan which is just so sweet.
