Hannah's 1st birthday party

Happy birthday Hannah, it's hard to believe that you a year old, well almost. Jake has so much fun playing at the party it was hard to get him to leave. In fact he was having so much fun playing he did not even want cake. Nathan stayed home and it was nice to have some mommy and Jake time.

WOW! I actually managed to get Jake to sit down for a few pictures...Now if only I could both kids smiling at the same time.

sophie

I was told Sophie the Giraffe is the new cool toy. I'm not sure I see why...it looks like a dog chew toy. For what I paid Sophis better not turn in to that. Nathan does seem to enjoy chewing on Sophie so that is good, but he does not seem to favor her yet.

11 weeks

It's hard to type while holding a baby...here is Nathan at 11 weeks.

handprints and footprints

I always wanted to do this with Jake and never did, so today I took Nathan to have his handprints and footprints made in to a keepsake tile.

bumbo chair

Nathan is getting much stronger and is holding head up really well. I figured I would give the bumbo a try. It was a huge hit, I only let him stay in it about five minutes, I was not sure if his neck was getting sore.

Nathan's smiles just melt my heart! He is starting to notice toys and he much more interactive with us.

playgroup

We had so much fun getting together for a playgroup. Jake loves to have his friends over, today he did a much better job of sharing his toys.

I went a little crazy taking his two month pictures...it seems like I have to take a hundred to get a few good ones. Here are a few more of my favorites from the other day.

His wall letters are finally up!

He has found his thumb! I think he is sleeping better now that he can sooth himself back to sleep.

My little peanut was only 10 pounds 12 ounces, which put him it to the 25 percentile for weight and he was 22 3/4 inches, so 50 percentile for height.

in the snow

Friday when we finally had our first real snow, Jake was so eager to out and play. But it did not work for me to take him out. Saturday when David was home we bundled him up thinking he would have a blast. I was wrong, he lasted five minutes, he would not wear his gloves and he was whining that his hands were cold. Oh well, there is always next time...

2 months old

Really two months already??? But at the same time is seems like he has always been here. Wednesday is his check-up, it will be interesting to see what he weighs compared to Jake at 2 months.

how fun

We were out running errands this past weekend Jake discovered a new roller coaster that her loved! The funny part was he was said "mom take my picture" I thought that was pretty funny. I told him maybe he could get this roller coaster for his birthday

Nathan is 8 weeks old!

This little guy is getting so big way too fast. He is getting so much stronger everyday. He is able to keep his head up for a while and loves to look around. He is sleeping better, I am knocking on wood...the last few nights he has only gotten up to eat once and then gone right back to sleep. He still wakes up for the pacifier a few times. He continues to be such an easy going baby. He loves to snuggle, but is also happy swinging away. We go next week for his two month check up.

Jakers

I try almost everyday to get pictures of the boys and it usually it's a huge failure since Jake will not sit still. It seems like most of my pictures are of Nathan, since he is a much better sport about getting his pictures taken. Anyway here a few of Jake, I would never want him to leave him out. On a side note he now refers to himself as Jakers I guess that is a step up from Jakee.
