meeting Norah

When I told Jake we were going to the barn to meet baby Norah he thought Norah was a baby horse, not Tyler's baby sister. Needless to say he was not interested in Norah and just wanted to feed and ride the horses. Oh, and play with the wagon.

Hannah Jake and Nate in the pool

bbq at the Boltons

This was Nate's first time in the pool, he thought it was pretty cool. He has mastered sitting just in time for pool season. Thanks again for the pictures and video, Rebecca.

helping

This seemed like the easier way to get upstairs...maybe I should have re-thought that since it was clean laundry and he is the king of spit up. Lesson learned. And, I had to laugh.

taste of summer

Monday after school we hit the beach! I think I was more excited than Jake. We spent three hours relaxing and enjoying the great weather. Jake and Owen played so nicely that yes you read that correctly I got to relax! The beach is Jake's favorite activity hands down. Nathan also seemed to really enjoy himself.

cuddles with dad

This is an unique pictures for two reasons...
1. David eyes are open!
2. Nathan is cuddly

sunny sunday afternnon

There are several kids that live in my parents cul-de-sec who Jake loves to play with when he is over at there house. Luckily Grandma keeps a baiting suit handy...even it was from last year and little small. Jake had so much fun playing on Caroline's slip-in-slip...even though he could not get the run and slide concept down.

Jake and Andie at the park

While the big kids played Nathan was his usally chill self. Finding shade for him was the hard part.

swimming

I finally got a new little camera and was playing around with the video at swim class the other day. He can swim much better than this, he was not happy that I was playing with the camera and not watching him. Oh well...

happy half birthday Nathan

Nathan had a great check up; he still our little peanut weighing in at only 14 pounds even which puts him still in the 3-5 percentile. He is 26 inches which is the 50th percentile. He is eating great and meeting all of his milestones. He only had two shots today, and will go back in a month for two more.

He is now eating three solids meals a day. He is not a fan of cereal unless you mix something with it. So far he's had pretty much all of the stage 1 fruits and veggies and has liked them all. We are going to move him to stage two food this week. We are also stopping the Zantac and going to try to switch him to regular formula. The goal is to have this done by his next appointment in a month.

Nathan is a rolling machine. I really think he is going to crawl, unlike Jake. He loves to be down on the floor playing. He is still napping in the swing. I am trying to be better about having him nap in the crib. He sleeps great at night, usually about 11 hours. He also takes three naps. It is getting much harder to do stuff with Jake because of Nate's naps. He is not napping anymore in the car seat when we are out and about.

He just moved into size two diapers and is still wearing 3-6 months clothes.

my birthday

We were going to go to Strorybook Garden in London Ontario, but the weather did not cooperate. We ended up going to the Hands on Museum in the morning. Then we took the kids and went to dinner at Champps. We are going to out in a few week without the kids and I'm looking forward to it! I could not have asked for a better way to spend my birthday then with my wonderful boys:)

Jake had so much building with the blocks...to bad this was the last area we visited and we had to get home for naps

Last time we were there Jake was very into the water tables, today it was cleaning a rock...go figure

look at my tooth

His first tooth popped thru a few weeks ago but this was the first time I manged to actually get a picture of it. He has another one just starting to poke thru. Nathan is teething so much earlier than Jake.

crazy busy Sunday

First we had a bris for Aiden, then we had Ryan's 3rd birthday party. Talk about a crazy morning the boys did great. Normally I would not have taken them to bris, but since we had Ryan party right after we really did not have a choice. Luckily there we several kids at the bris and they had a gym to play in. Poor Nathan only slept in the car but was such a good sport about the whole thing. Nathan is huge compared to Aiden!

Congrats again to Rob,Reut and Max on baby Aiden

Ryan's birthday was tons of fun Dan Dan the Choo Choo Train was there!
