It's official Nathan has started creeping or army crawling! I'm trying to get a video but he does not like to perform for the camera.

I just do not get it, but for some reason there is just something about sand that looks so tasty...

playdate

We had a fun playdate with Carly, Conner and Noah.

the little boys, were happy playing with what ever they could get there hands on. They we very in to watching the big boys on the roller coaster. You could tell they were thinking hey what about me, I want a turn!

Chopsticks made dinner very entertaining the other night. Jake even tried to eat rice with his chopsticks.

Nathan is only happy in the bath if Jake is in the tub with him. If I'm in a hurry and try to give Nathan a quick bath by himself he refuse to sit down.

good bye swing

Nathan lived in his swing his first few months, so much we had two. One upstairs and one down. He use to only want to sleep in his swing. Ever since we started having him sleep more in his crib we have not been using them. So it was a sad day when we packed them away, and long overdue. We also finally lowered his crib mattress, he is so close to being able to sit up bye himself.

night at the zoo

We meet up with a bunch of people from Jake's nursery school for a night at the zoo. We were running late and only had time for the concert part of the evening. (We did not see any animals or ride the train) The boys had fun and we would definitely go back again.

lets swing

We meet us with some friends last week at Rainbow Recreation. We have not been there since the winter, I thought it could be very busy since it was a gross hot day, but we had the place pretty much to our selves.

Grandma watches Nathan on Tuesdays when I take Jake to swim class. They both love there one-on-one time together.

My big camera has been in for service so I have not been good about taking pictures with the little camera. Here are a few from the other night when the boys were having so much fun on the swing set. Nathan is just loving the swing these days.

8 months

Nathan just started saying da da da and ya ya ya in the last few days. He has three top teeth coming in at once. He is not crawling yet but, I think he could start at anytime, however he is very happy rolling all over the place. He has also decided he really does not like to sit and play he wants to stand. Which is fine and all until I try to put him in the bath and he won't bend his knees. He can be a very stubborn little guy. He is so wiggly holding him is a challenge...he is way to busy to cuddle. We have started to intruduce more table food so far so good. He is willing to try more than Jake ever was.

puffs

Nathan is totally obsessed with puffs. He is doing a great job of shoveling them into his month. Baby mum-mum are another huge hit.

beating the heat?

It seemed like a great idea to go to the beach to beat this heat, but let me tell you, it really was not. The sand was so hot it burned to bottoms of you feet. Jake and Owen were happy playing in the water but it made it a very hard morning dealing with Nathan since he could be in the sun for that long. Usually they can play in the sand for hours! The water was so warm it was like bath water.

zoo

The zoo was challenging with two toddlers and three babies. The big boys were very happy on the train. We did not see that much since it seemed like a baby was always crying. Nathan had a hard morning since he did not nap. We will not make that mistake again. Jake was just happy to see Max

Aiden is only two months old but almost the same size as Nathan!

shopping in our basement

Since Nathan is really into standing these days we figured it was about time to bring out the activity table. Jake thought it was his new toys and was not thrilled about sharing it with Nathan. Lukily Jake was bored with it in about 5 mintues.

troy aquatics center

This has been a water filled week. We meet us with some friends at the Troy Aquatics Center this morning. Jake was so much braver than last year, even though he has always loved the water last summer he was scared of the water slide and this year he could not get enough. Nathan even had fun splashing around.
