kumon
Jake has officially started doing Kumon. We tried and a year ago and he was just not ready, but now he asks to do it every night before bed. Today after soccer we went in to Kumon so he could do his work there. (and for Grandma to show off her boys) We feel since we have this amazing resource at our finger tips we need to take advantage of it.

quarton lake
This afternoon Pam Schofield took some pictures of the boys. Sunday she is taking our family pictures. These are just a few shots my mom took when we were waiting for Pam to arrive. Cross your fingers that they turn out amazing, I have very high expectations, since she did such a wonderful job on Nathan's newborn pictures.

max's birthday party
When I pulled my camera out I realized it was not charged, luckily Stacy had hers and was able to get some cute pictures of the boys. Max's party was at Heritage Park, it was a perfect fall day. The kids did not miss not being able to go in the sprinklers. They even had a great clown painting faces and making balloon animals. Jake wanted a spider on his arm.

first day of 3 year old preschool
Today was the much anticapted day! Jake started 3 year old preschool. We have been talking about how I was going to drop him off and pick him up after lunch. He kept asking for me to stay the whole time. Jake helped me pack his lunch last night and get everything ready. He tried to stall this morning but over all did great! He is really growing up. He walked right in to his class room started to play with play-doh.

the inferno
Jake's team, the inferno is made up of seven 3 and 4 year-olds. (His buddies, Brady and Conner are on his team) This is Jake's first experience playing a team sport. He really was not sure what to do, he gets kicking a goal but that is about it at this point. He really seemed to like his couch he was very happy holding his hand. It was a great experience, no tears were shed. And in true Jake fashion what he liked most was the snack at the end. This is an eight week season. With games every Saturday, they practice for 20 minutes before each game.
