This is when my camera decided to die. Gotta love technology. It's Jake's hat, but Nathan wanted a turn with it on. Jake tought wearing this hat would make his cars go faster.

camera crisis

My nice big camera has been acting up a little lately, I even took it in for a tune up but it really did not fix it 100%. The other day I was just taking some pictures when it completely died. I took it in yesterday and it has to be sent out to be fixed and that could take weeks. I do not have week we leave for Hawaii in less than two weeks! Talk about bad timing. I just ordered the d90, I'm very excited for it to get and for me to figure it out before we leave. Hopefully the can fix my old one and then I can sell it. In the mean time I'm dealing with the little camera that just does not cut it.

parent teacher conference

Jake's conference was a very positive experience, there were no surprises. Who does not love to hear what an amazing kid they have. Jake has grown so much in the past year. We are still working on him being more independent and not so quick to say he can't. Jake's teachers Miss Helyane and Miss Karen are amazing, they are so warm and nurturing and at the same time give him the little push and encouragement he needs some times.

Enzo's Spiderman tricycle was also a huge hit with Nathan. His feet could barely reach the ground but that did not stop him!

The boys had so much fun playing at Enzo's house this morning. Tony put Nathan on this little ride on never thinking he would be able to actually make it go by himself. He amazed us all, stoping how ever he needs a little work. Nathan was very proud of himself!

I was trying to re create a photo shoot using this basket of Rebecca's. Jake would not sit in it because it was to wobbly, luckily Nathan was a good sport. I was able to get him to sit with a snack cup of cheerios. I think I took about 100 shots and actually ended up with several good ones.

It took a little longer than we expected, but over the last few days Nathan has offically become a walker! Way to go Nathan!

Hannah Renee

This precious little girl was definitely worth the wait. Scott, Shauna and Lily got home from California yesterday and today we got to go meet her. Jake was very excited all week to get to meet the new baby Hannah. I thought when we got over there Jake would just want to play with Lily but he was very interested in Hannah, he kept asking to hold her. He was so gentle and sweet with her. Jake even wanted to hold Nathan and well Nathan made it clear he was not going to sit to be held. Nathan did sit for few pictures but that is only because he stole Lily's snack cup and he was very happy to play baby with Sydney.

Macy's 1st Birthday

The third and final party of our very crazy weekend was Macy's first birthday party. Macy had a swim party and let me tell you Jake wanted to get in to this very cool pool the minute we walked in the door. It seems like we have been to so many parities lately but this was the first swimming party. Jake had so much he fun he told me he wants a swim party for his birthday (I have other plans, but maybe a back-up) swim parties are alot of work for the parents. I would not have had any pictures if it was not for Rebecca, so thank you Rebecca. I'm so glad David was off this weekend of I do not know how I would have managed. Nathan was a little tentative at first, the water was cooler than he was use to but he got use to it. I think it's about time for Nathan to start swim lesson.

Jonah's Party

I'm finally getting caught up on everything and feeling back to normal... Jonah's party was at Franklin Athletic Club. Jake had so much fun playing with all of his friends from school. And, of course eating lots of cake!

Owen's birthday party

Owen's party kicked of a very busy weekend for us. Unfortunately for me I also starting feeling kind of sick at the same time, and I am not one to get sick easily. Owen had a bowling party for his 5th birthday this year. I still can't believe Owen is five! It seemes like just yesterday he was a little 3 pound baby, and now look at him. The boys had fun even though they were not in to the bowling. The Sponge Bob birthday cake was a huge hit. Happy Birthday Owen!!
