We had to perfect fall day to go and explore kensington. First we headed to the petting farm and then went over to the nature center to explore the walking trails. By the petting farm they had a pumpkin patch set up, the boys practiced picking out pumpkins.

franklin cider mill
Nathan and I had a busy morning. First we headed to the library for story time and then meet up Macy, Lilah and Sara at the Franklin Cider Mill. We lucked out and had the perfect fall morning at the cider mill to feed the ducks ride the tractor and of course enjoy yummy cider and donuts.

matching jammies
The boys love to match:) They always ask to wear the same jammies. It was chilly enough the other night to break out the warm fleece jammies.

first fall 2012 soccer game
dooey
We received some very sad this past week that Dooey has a bone tumor. The vets think that it is pretty aggressive and that he only 4-6 weeks left. We were shocked by this news, we knew something was going on with his leg, but we never imagined this. We had him at the vet a few weeks ago but his leg was just not getting better. We have learned that bone tumors are very common in greyhounds. We are going to try to make the best of the time he has left and prepare the boys as best as we can. Right now he does not seem to be in much pain but he does not want to move around much either.
Nathan insisted I take a picture of him too |

fresh for the picking
We started with raspberries picking we had just finished eating our cider and donuts but you would never had guessed by the way the boys inhaled the raspberries. We took very few rasberries home with us. Then we headed over to the apples. We were pleased that there were several varities to choose from. We left with 1/2 bushel good thing Jake has to bring a healty snack everyday.
Nathan ate everything he picked!! |
more from Blake's
This kids' area was amazing they could have played all day long! Both boys loved jumping on the pillow bouncers. Jake get a huge kick out of the talking skeletons.
