Jake lost another tooth

I can't believe that this is the 6th tooth that Jake has lost. Well the first two were from falling so this is #4 the natural way. This boy is getting big to fast! Most of his friends who are just days older or younger have not even lost their first tooth. I better get a call in to the Tooth Fairy.

Since Jake missed playing in the snow the other day he was very excited to get his sled for the first time this season. I think it took me longer to get all of us dressed in snow gear then we actually out in the snow! Of course we all enjoyed hot chocolate when we came inside.

Jake's holiday party at school

Jake class had a New Years themed party this morning. I feel bad for his teachers because the kids are going to be bouncing off the wall with the amount of sugar they had before lunch. The kids had 4 craft station; they made edible party hats, noise makers, clocks and got to go fishing for a resolution. We even had enough time to watch a winter themed Scooby-Doo movie. And, tomake the day more fun it was pajama day!! As much as I have complained about being the room mom for his class it was very fun to see it all come together and the kids having a great time. I was very lucky that so many moms stepped up to help out and bring in snacks.

last night of hanukkah

We missed a few nights of Hanukkah with our busy schedules so we made up for it last night and let the boys up the rest of their gifts.

Jake has been bugging me to make cookies. My mom got us these letter and number cookie cutters years ago and this was the first time I took them out of the package. Needless to say there was a suger high the rest of the night.

Instead of exchanging gifts with some of the boys best buddies we meet up at Zap Zone for an exciting morning. The kids are always so excited to see each other. It so hard to get together with every ones crazy schedules. Nathan has a huge crush on Sydney, and Sydney is so motherly with him. After a fun morning of glo-golf, bumper cars and go carts we headed to Leos to fun lunch. Jake is already asking to go back to Zap Zone again soon with his buddies!
