another snow day!!

The boys had yet another snow day, the third one this year. Luckily I was feeling much better and we meet up with Macy, Lilah and Sara at Kids Gotta Play.  We tried to get there last week over break but the day we were going to go the weather did not cooperate. We have not been there since last winter and  the kids had a blast!! The goal was to see whose hair could be most effected by the static on the slides. Want to take a guess who one??

another one!!

Jake lost another tooth at school today during lunch!! This is the 7th tooth he has lost including the 2 that were knocked out. This one has been loose and bothering him so I was not surprised to get an email that it came out. His teacher put his tooth is a cute little treasure box, Jake is very eager to find out what the Tooth Fairy is going to leave him under his pillow.

We meet up with the Ostrofsky family the other day at a new play place called Safari Playground in Walled Lake. The kiddos had a great time running and around and burning off some energy. We will be definitely going back soon!

We have been keeping pretty busy over break. Monday both boys had play dates, Tuesday we did a little shopping at Great Lakes Crossing and then burned off some energy at Jeepers followed by a make-up swim class. Today after a morning play date the boys finally had some down time.

Hannah's 4th birthday

Hannah had a princess and super hero party at Franklin Athletic Club. She requested that all of her guests come appropriately dressed. My little super hero's had a blast bouncing, running around and of course having snacks and cake!

Jake tried out roller skating for the first time at Alex's birthday.  I was pretty impressed with how he did. He started off a little tentative but by the end he was getting the hang of it. On the way home he was already asking to go back and try again, I will take that a good sign.

I feel like I have been slacking in my pictures taking. I tend to bring my camera to "big" events but I have not been great about taking it out around the house. My goal is to be better about it, so when the boys were being very cute sharing my phone, I was motivated to get my camera out. 

100 day project

Jake's 100th day of school is Thrusday, hard to blieve that this school year is more than half over. Here is the 100 day project. Luckily I found this pretty easy idea on Pinterest. 

sense of self

 It all seemed to start with a pair of cowboys boots that were only suppose to be part of a Halloween costume. Well after the costume was packed away Nathan wanted to wear his cowboy boots everyday.  Nathan is also in a stage where he has to pick out all his own clothes. I miss the days I could pick out his outfits.  He only wants to wear athletic pants and tee shirts, anything else involves major negotiations. I guess I should not complain to much because he is very indenpendent and only wants to get himself dressed.
