Let me start by saying I am so proud of Jake, he did awesome on his first day. I am so glad we sent him to camp. I really think it helped with the transition especially since he is in the same room with most of the same staff.
When we pulled in to the parking lot this morning he get a little fussy and say "no camp" but once he was in the room he saw a table with play-doh and he was off. I was a little nervous since I had scheduled an doctors appointment for me and knew I could not linger around. Maybe that was a good thing, I said good bye and not a tear. When I picked him up they said he did great. He was so busy playing when I walked into the room he did not notice I was there. I am just so relived that it went went and he really seemed to have a great time.

The morning was a little rough, he slept in and Jake wanted his chocolate milk and Elmo.
