southfield library
Since I'm still limited in what I can do, but need to get out of the house this morning we headed over to the Southfield Library. I knew it was suppose to be great, but I had no idea how great it was going to be! Jake had the most fun running around the garden area. There was also a dragon in a dungeon that he was not so sure about but has not stopped talking about all day. This library is a playground, they had a a tree house, place for a puppet show, game and puzzle table and so much more. We will be going back for sure.

I'm a librarian at the Southfield Public Library. Your blog came up with a google alert I have set up. I'm so glad that you and your sun liked the library. Jake might enjoy our Toddler Story Times which start on September 15th at 10am & 11am in our Space Station Program Room.
The dragon can be a bit scarier but once you know his name he's a bit less scary. His name is slumber, as he sleeps all day long.

we went to the Southfield library too a few weeks ago for the first time with some friends that go there all the time. It was awesome! Marianna loved the sleeping dragon and it is all she talks about. We will be going back again for sure in the fall. Thursdays I have her and she is in school Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (all day :)
