xcaret

Cozumel was our last port of call. The shore excursion desk recommended this place, mostly because it was stroller friendly. But let me tell you we were just blown away! Xcaret was beyond an unique experience. After getting off the boat we had to take a 45 minute water ferry ride to Play de Carmen. This ferry ride was horrible, the water was so rough. I could not wait to be back on solid ground.

Xcaret is a little hard to describe they call it an ecological theme park, not sure what that means, but it not a zoo or just a water park. There are animals but they are in there natural surroundings. You felt like you were in a jungle. We needed way more than the 4 hours we were given. Our favorite part of the day was floating in the lagoon.
