facts at 4

Jake at 4 years old
Shoe Size: 8 (buying 9s for summer)
Clothing: pretty much 4T clothes, shorts are still a 3T

Schedule:
Naps: Nope, these are so far and few between that I barely remember them anymore. But he still does get 2hrs of "quiet" time usually watching some Scooby-doo.
Bedtime: Bath is now about 7pm, some night he goes right to sleep others he is talking for a while. We aim for light out by 8pm.
Wake: Lately he has been getting up earlier and earlier. He was sleeping till 8 most days now it is usually 7
Overall he is still a great sleeper, but the transition to not napping has been a little hard, he frequently falls asleep in the car in the later afternoon. Jake NEVER use to get our of his bed, and well in the last couple of weeks that has changed, so this is our new challenge.

School:
Jake started the school year going MWF from 9-12:30 but after he dropped his nap in February he has stated staying until 3 in March. It was very hard to get him at 12:30 because of Nathan's nap. Staying until 3 has also helped him not come home so cranky.

Favorites:
Food: noodles and yogurt
Snack: anything junk and chocolate
Fruit: blueberries
TV Shows: Scooby-Doo
Activity: Swimming, play outside, tormenting Nathan

Fun Facts:
- He is doing great and knows just about all the letter sounds.
- He can write his name.
- He is still into animals, airplanes and cars.
- He still colors outside the lines but is getting closer to staying inside them.
- He is an expert on the ITouch and loves playing little games and watching movies.
- He is very confident at riding his bike with the training wheels.
- His imaginative play is growing and including emotions.
- Roxy (his elephant lovey) is still need at bedtime and always travels with us.

We are continuing to work on Jake being more independent and trying things before he says he can't. We also want to get rid of the bed rails soon.
