my birthday/mother's day

That's right they got lumped together this year. Yes, I know I'm a little bitter, these are suppose to be two days that are about me! To make matter worse David had to work all day. Now, you see why I was a little upset? To make the best of the situation I meet my dad at the Farmers Market in Birmingham. The weather was perfect and Jake was very excited to pick out flowers for me with a little help from grandpa. We then walked across the street to the park and the boys had a blast.The boys were loving sliding down the hill, even grandpa joined in the fun. It was a great morning. After Nathan's nap I meet my mom at Somerset for little shopping, shopping always puts me in a better mood:) After shopping we headed back to my parents house for dinner. David was able to join us for dinner, cake and presents. The highlight of my day was my shiny new ipad, and of course spending time with my wonderful family. The day turned out much better than I expected, actually aside for David having to work it could not have been more perfect.

My mom was a great sport about sharing her day. Jake helped me pick our flowers for her too at the market and we made her a photo book of trip to Hawaii.
