I thought it was going to a pretty low key weekend with my sister in town and David havivn to work, but it turned rather dramatic when Jake feel on Monday and knocked his other front tooth out. What luck! I was upstairs straightening my hair when I heard a crash downstairs, he was supposed to resting on the couch. I race down to find him on the kitchen floor, there was the tooth right next to him. He actually calmed down very quickly and feel asleep cuddling with me on the couch. We had last minute plans to meet some friends for a barbecue he said he was fine and wanted to go. Within no time he was acting like nothing had happened. Thank goodness kids are so resilient. When he knocked out the other tooth eight months again, we were told this tooth was weak and would not take much to have it fall out. Last time Jake wanted no part of the tooth fairy, this time was a different story. He was very happy to wake up this morning to find a new police car that the tooth fairy had left. He already asked if the tooth fairy will be back tonight and leave and another car. I sure hope not!! I spoke with the dentist this morning and he will go in tomorrow for xrays, there is nothing the can do save the tooth.
The rest of the weekend was much more low key, lots of yummy food and time with friends and family.
